Add users

The add user page allows you to add a user to the https://users.conbop.app portal. Depending on the type of user will trigger different actions.

User types

Note

Types must already be in the system, meaning a speaker, exhibitor, sponsor must already be added to the system before they will show up in the dropdown.

  • Exhibitor / Sponsor

Speakers

Note

Only speakers with a valid email address will be listed in the speaker dropdown. Speakers must have a valid email address as this will be used to send them a link to the portal.

When selecting a speaker as the type, will present you with a listing of 'speakers' for your event. Once a speaker is selected, and the add user button is clicked, the system will send an email to the speaker with a link to the portal.

Exhibitors / Sponsors

Note

Only exhibitors / sponsors added to the system will be displayed in the dropdown.

Adding an exhibitor / sponsor operates differently then speakers as multiple users can be associated with a profile. When selecting an exhibitor / sponsors as the type, a new screen will display for user information.

Note

When a user is added, an email will be sent to the user with a time sensitive link to reset their password. If a user does not reset their password during this time period, they will need to request a password reset link from the https://users.conbop.app portal.
