Home screen type
The home screen type option allows you to select from 4 different home screen types.
- Icons
- Image tile
- Image icons
- Page builder
Icons
The icon type will display a listing of icons for each section. This is the default home screen type.
Image tile
The image tile type allows you to use 'images' as the home screen. This is useful if you wish to use images to represent each section. and can be used in conjunction with home text background color.
Image icons
The image icon type is a blending of both Icons and Image tile options. When this option is selected, it will use images as the 'icon' vs the default icon sets. This is useful when a uniform look and feel is desired with more customization for branding.
Page builder
The page builder option works in conjunction with the page builder. Page builder give you the ability to customize the look and feel of the home screen with sliders, sections and more.
Page builder is currently in an open beta. While we strive to enhance and better this option there may be some gremlins still. if you encounter any issues, please let us know and will be happy to assist.
Icon shape
The icon shape option works in conjunction with both the icon and image icon home screen types. This option allows you to select from
- Round
- Square
Home text color
The home text color allows you to set the text color for an icon. This can be helpful when a background image or color may not have enough contrast to make the text readable.
Any HEX color can be used for the home text color
Home text background color
The home text background color is used ONLY when home image type is set to image tile. By default, each tile will have a gray background behind the text, as text is overlayed to the image. This option allows you to change this color from a transparent black, to any hex color.
To hide a background / text overlay on a tile, you can append the 'hidden' keyword to the section title in the app appearance > home icons section. The hidden keyword should be followed by a tilde (~), for example:
hidden~Sessions
Icons per page - phone
The icons per page - phone option works in concert with both the icon and image icon home screen types. When the home screen type is set to icon or image icon, this value will be used to determine how may icons will be displayed per 'slide' on the home screen.
Icons per page - tablet/web
The icons per page - tablet/web option works in concert with both the icon and image icon home screen types. When the home screen type is set to icon or image icon, this value will be used to determine how may icons will be displayed per 'slide' on the home screen.
